Applications open for the 2027 National Youth Advocacy Program
KOA invites youth and young adults to its third National Youth Advocacy Program, organized with U.S. Campaign for Burma and California Karen Youth Connection. Build advocacy skills, participate in civic life, and gain firsthand experience in Washington, D.C. Registration closes February 28, 2027.

- Virtual leadership development and advocacy training: March–July 2027.
- In-person leadership development and advocacy training: July 17–18, 2027, Washington, D.C.
- Congressional office visits: July 19, 2027.
- Graduation and local engagement: August 2027; exact date to be announced.
